Allied Fire protection, Inc. (AFP) was officially founded on November of 1998 with a $60,000 contract for the Army Corps of Engineers. For the next 6 years AFP steadily grew to a volume of $4.5 million in 2005 which we maintain today. AFP concentrates heavily on engineering and consulting aspect of the fire protection field while our permanent crews continually complete flawless installations in all of Washington DC metropolitan area from Delaware to Richmond. AFP has successfully designed and installed a variety of fire suppression and fire alarm systems such as wet, dry, preaction, deluge, low expansion foam, high expansion foam, AFFF, FM-200, Intergen, standpipes, fire pumps and rack storage systems. We rely on state of the art computers and software to keep up to date with this fast changing industry. AFP's base of operation is in our own 16,000 square foot building with over 2000 square feet of offices dedicated for engineering alone. Our engineering services has been utilized for many projects for the department of state or the military overseas such as Rome, Brussels, Luxembourg, New Delhi, Mumbai, Islamabad (Pakistan), Qatar, Kathmandu (Nepal), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Kingston (Jamaica), Panama city, Mexico city, Brasilia, Lima (Peru), Manama (Bahrain), Dili (East Timor), Bermuda, St. Croix, Caracas (Venezuela) and US embassy compound in Brunei.
